Our commitment

Maple Crest serves older adults and their families, many of whom rely on assistive technology or benefit from thoughtful accessible design. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across our public website and platform.

What we do

• Minimum AA color contrast throughout, including within the Family Portal
• Visible focus states on every interactive element
• A minimum 16px body text size, with no interface relying on smaller type
• Touch targets sized for reduced fine motor precision (44px minimum)
• Full keyboard navigability, with no interaction depending on hover alone
• Respect for reduced-motion preferences

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checklist. We review new features against these standards before release and welcome feedback on anything we can improve.
